A CLAIM of unfair dismissal has been lodged against Fair Work Australia, the official umpire for workplace disputes, over allegations of workplace bullying in its Melbourne office.
The claim, by a female lawyer who left the department last month, has created a procedural headache for the body, which will now have to make a ruling about the workplace conduct of its own staff.
The case also raises questions about the working environment within the agency tasked with administering anti-bullying workplace laws.
