Geelong man fights bullying

A GEELONG man will today give evidence at a Federal Government inquiry into workplace bullying and call for mandatory reporting to WorkSafe.

The Standing Committee on Education and Employment will examine the nature, causes and extent of workplace bullying and consider proposals to address it after the Productivity Commission estimated the issue cost Australia up to $36 billion a year.

Ross Tresedale told the Geelong Advertiser how, for 18 months, he was criticised and belittled at a Geelong business.

“It came as a real shock to me, I had a long work experience and didn’t think anything could get to me, but it knocked me for six,” he said
